Louvre Hotels Group, is pursuing its ambitious growth strategy both in France and internationally. Since January 2011, Louvre Hotels Group has opened 42 new hotels, the equivalent of over 4,000 new rooms.
These hotel openings are part of the Group’s expansion strategy, which calls for a hundred hotel openings a year on average over the next five years.

Louvre Hotels Group wins the bid for the Montpellier Gare St Roch

This 9,000m2 construction project of resolutely contemporary architecture designed by the Manuelle Gautrand Architecte firm to be slated for completion for fall 2013.
Louvre Hotels Group featured brands – Campanile and Golden Tulip – met the specifications for high-quality, modern facilities within the framework of this emblematic project marking the renovation of the St Roch district.
The hotel complex will offer a full range of facilities and services including:
• A GOLDEN TULIP hotel (4*) with 100 rooms: The hotel will feature a spacious terrace facing the train station and mutualization with the business center and the restaurant.
• A CAMPANILE hotel (3*) with 70 rooms: The hotel will adopt the “Campanile New Generation” concept developed by well-known designer Patrick Jouin.
The New Generation concept combines a modern feel and client comfort, and is highly appreciated by
Louvre Hotels Group is working on this project in collaboration with the Société Valotel France, headed up by Mr. Pascal Donat, who will be the main investor for the overall real estate project and future hotel complex operator (and who already operates 16 hotels on other sites).

Louvre Hotels Group and OSEO, a public body that provides funding to SMEs for innovation and growth, today announced the signature of a 3-year national partnership agreement.
Under the agreement, OSEO undertakes:
- to facilitate initiatives by Group franchisees,
- to provide them with support and advice on investment, renovation and modernisation projects.
In exchange, Louvre Hotels Group will inform its franchisee hotels that OSEO can provide them with expertise and financial assistance.
This strategic partnership illustrates the Group’s ambition to provide a modern and high-quality hotel experience that complies with new industry standards and meets customers’ expectations.

Alain Sebah is appointed Chief Operating Officer for the Middle-East and Africa region

He will be responsible for monitoring operations for the Group's seven brands in this region, where Louvre Hotels Group is already well represented, with 60 hotels in 12 countries.
Alain Sebah will also be responsible for delivering the best possible match with hotel operators' needs and supporting the Group's active expansion in the Africa and Middle-East region.
This appointment enables Louvre Hotels Group to support its international growth strategy, more particularly in the Middle-East and Africa region, which in 2011 accounts for 45% of the Group's new international hotel openings and more than 3,300 rooms.

This combination with Golden Tulip, perfectly complementary to Louvre Hôtels in terms of market segments and geographic locations, has enabled Louvre Hôtels to gain 10 years of growth.
The new company currently manages a portfolio of 7 clearly distinctive and complementary brands ranging from 1 to 5 stars; and with over 1,000 hotels in 40 countries, it is one of the leaders in the global hotel sector.

Louvre Hôtels and Golden Tulip announced today the launch of a new commercial entity called “Louvre Hotels Group”, the 8th largest player in the global hotel industry, and the 2nd largest in Europe.
Louvre Hotels Group aims to open a total amount of 80 hotels in 2011, mainly in Europe and in Asia. Already 20 openings have been carried out since January (including seven hotels in France, four hotels in India, three hotels in Brazil,…).
Then, the Group plans to increase the expansion of its hotels, and to open an annual average of a hundred of hotels within the next five years.
