Relaxed and affable, Jean-Philippe Dubs is a lawyer by training, with an intimate knowledge of the group in which he has held a wide variety of executive positions for the last 10 years: secretary-general and director of human resources when the Taittinger family held the reins, former member of the board of directors of the Société du Louvre, COO of Louvre Hôtels, etc. So he was very involved with the last change in share ownership, which took place in 2005.
"I still oversee HR and social matters, particularly relations with the trades unions", says the man who, together with Pierre-Frédéric Roulot, is officially responsible for relations with investors and franchisees. A position of trust, in which the relationship aspect is most important. And to summarise: "I divide my time between taking care of the deposits and withdrawals of our historic investors and round table discussions on the hotels. I defuse any potential conflicts. And finally, I cultivate relations with the Louvre Hotels association of economy franchise investors (Association des Investisseurs Franchisés du Pôle Économique - AIFE)". Jean-Philippe Dubs still fulfils his duties as secretary-general of the Louvre Group, overseeing the activities of several departments that are still shared by both hotel lines, economy and luxury, in the same way as information technology. A cross-sectional view that Jean-Philippe Dubs brings to the Executive Committee, where he does not hesitate to assume the role of "sage". With complete confidence in his ability to calm exchanges at these meetings due to his balanced outlook and profound experience in the upper echelons of business. But his busy schedule does not prevent him from devoting time to his four children, his friends and his other great passion, the electric guitar.
