Environmental
protection
Energy efficiency, waste reduction and the construction
of environmentally friendly buildings are necessary commitments in our sector. To live up to our responsibilities, Louvre Hôtels has identified priority measures
- Give priority to showers rather than bathtubs in our new and renovated buildings,
- Install water-saving devices in our bathrooms
(50% of shower water is saved),
- Use energy-efficient lighting,
- Raise the awareness of our guests about water and energy consumption,
- Promote renewable energy, such as heat pumps for ambient heating and joining the GDF Suez AlpEnergie
100 programs: 100% renewable energy use in 300 hotels,
- Pursue projects for the recycling of wastewater and the installation of photovoltaic wall panels for hot water,
- Test maintenance products and distributors of eco-labelled soap,
- Increase the use of recycled paper in our marketing tools.
Accommodating people with disabilities
Creating a comfortable and completely safe environment
for those with motor, visual or hearing disabilities is a major goal in each of our new and renovated hotels. That's why
our Campanile «Next Generation» concept includes
- Parking with improved markings,
- An S-shaped wheelchair ramp in the reception building,
- Indoor and outdoor communal areas accessible to those with reduced mobility,
- Specially adapted signage,
- Wide thoroughfares along buildings,
- Rooms specially designed for those with disabilities, equipped according to the new 2015 standards.
Sports: Shared values
Louvre Hôtels has always shared the rigour, passion and team spirit of the world of sports. This is why the group supports a number of sports federations. We have built special, long-term partnerships with
- The French Federation of Judo, since 2007
- The French Federation of Swimming, since 2008
Which, for us, means
- Accommodating the clubs under the best conditions, including special meals and services adapted to the needs of athletes,
- Offering special rates to college athletes,
- Rebating 5% of the money spent in our hotels to the clubs.
