Pierre-Frédéric Roulot, President of Louvre Hotels Group

With his course clearly marked out, Pierre-Frédéric Roulot intends to make Louvre Hotels Group one of the top 5 hotel groups in the world. Drawing on a portfolio
of strong brands and buoyed by the merger with Golden Tulip, this master orchestrator with an insatiable appetite for challenge is relying on the emerging countries to help him reach his goal. "It's a real-life adventure for our young, dynamic company with the outlook of a small enterprise", declares the man who spent 20 years at McDonald's and became General Manager of McDonald's France. Since his arrival in 2007, a string of projects has already been carried out, focusing on training, signage locations, development, communications and much more. His favourite aphorism is: "We have to act like a leader with the energy
of a challenger". His executive committee meets for several hours every week. It very much reflects the personality of this alternative rock fan with a penchant
for the offbeat, who in fact managed several musical groups in his early career. Indeed, Pierre-Frédéric Roulot fundamentally re-engineered his committee when he arrived, including professionals from various disciplines, from conventional hospitality and fast-food chains to distribution, consulting and public relations.
All the while, he never lost sight of gender equality. "It's like an internal combustion engine: we feed on our own ideas, observations and suggestions, which enables everyone to progress more quickly in his or her own field". To ensure that this speed of decision making is matched in the implementation,
Pierre-Frédéric Roulot maintains short command chains. One of his trademark decisions: each member of the Executive Committee represents Louvre Hotels Group
to the public and may thus make-good-decisions on his or her own account.
