We spent one wonderful week at Amani Boutique Hotel in July, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and feels incredibly safe, with an amazing private beach and a lovely pool area. The whole place has a quiet, exotic atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the little details, like the coconuts you could hang at your sunbed to order something, and the fresh fruit and cold towels brought to us by the staff. Every member of the team was exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional, always going above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well cared for. The housekeeping team was wonderful too, taking care of our room several times a day and even leaving little candies for us. The restaurant was another highlight. We loved the variety of dining experiences, with some evenings offering an à la carte menu rather than a buffet, especially the local food night, when we got to discover traditional dishes explained by the staff. The evening continued with live music performed by three lovely local musicians, and even the chef and waiters joined in to sing! It felt like a family celebration and was such a beautiful, authentic experience. What made our stay truly special was the people. When it was time to leave, we genuinely felt as though we were saying goodbye to friends rather than simply leaving a hotel. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team for making our stay in Zanzibar so memorable. Everything was wonderful, and we would return in a heartbeat.
