Opened in January 2019, we chose for our 4 star, 60-room hotel, an American hotel brand…who decided in 2020 to shut down its French headquarters. We no longer had support and many franchises ended their contract. I was contacted by Louvre Hotels Group and the contact with the franchise team worked right away, so much so that we quickly approved, with my wife, to go with Kyriad Prestige.
Everything happened naturally and efficiently despite being during the pandemic. The follow up of the different teams of Louvre Hotels Group was remarkable and made this step the smoothest possible. In a few months we are going to celebrate the first anniversary of this brand change. Despite the environment of constant doubt for the past two years, we are confident and positive for the future of our hotel under the Kyriad Prestige brand.
The head of an evolving family business (2 hotels and 2 restaurants), Guillaume created his first establishment in 2014. Convinced by brand strength and looking for a super power for distribution and marketing, he decided to franchise under the Kyriad name and thus started his partnership with Louvre Hotels Group with the Kyriad hotel in Angers.
A fan of technology, Guillaume does not hesitate to test robotization of services and several startups dedicated to HCR in his establishment, with an constant eye to facilitate his teams’ work.
What Guillaume appreciates the most in his partnership with Louvre Hotels Group is the close work with the different group services. Exchange, dialogue, proposals, innovation and contribution to strengthening the brands are some of the reasons that led him to commit to the AIFE (Association of the Franchises of the Group) and then to take over the Presidency as of September 2021 with a fervent wish to construct and advance, hand in hand, with the Group teams.

Despite being part of a brand and that is more and more visible, Ondine Jallerat wants to hold on to a certain amount of independence. She wants to have space to be flexible, to have some freedom. Not only when she is considering renovations, or a certain décor or when she installs Chromecast, but also when she wants to develop the welcome of cycle-tourism. To that end, she transformed an old maritime container into a secure place to park some 20 bicycles. Ondine Jallerat is finishing up the renovations of the family rooms, is planning to enlarge the breakfast room, and wants to commit to a CSR plan.
This “close to nature” approach, which came about thanks to cycle-tourism, has had her rethinking all of her cleaning strategy. A thought process that she is undertaking with her operational director, all while having a green light from Kyriad Direct.
Why Louvre Hotels Group, why Kyriad and specifically Kyriad Prestige Residence?
The number one residential hotel in the Kyriad Prestige brand, the experience with the group was worth a try, given the configuration of our establishment, offering 1 and 2 room apartments in a residential hotel concept.
The experience was a success! In fact during the construction we were able to incorporate our architectural and decorative ideas which were part of a history and the Normandy region. Ever since opening we have enjoyed the presence of an efficient, experienced assistance which has allowed us to vastly evolve in our hotel sector.
The Louvre Hotels Group team then helped us immensely in our evolution towards a more classic hotel structure which better matched what we do (clientele, market, length of stay…) and allowed us to grow our turnover.
Our regular work meetings incorporated exchanges which were sometimes divergent but always consensual, geared towards our numbers, forecasts, the market and the evolution of the hotel services (well-being, bike rentals, etc…) are always very constructive and professional. They take place in a friendly spirit which is always pleasant.
