Eleven participants, from around the globe will benefit from the savoir-faire of Louvre Hotels Group: we welcome them from Panama, France, Morocco, Brazil, the Netherlands, Peru, Spain and the United Kingdom.
The program started in early December when participants were welcomed at the Golden Tulip Marseille Euromed hotel. There, they met the Roissy, Saint-Germain, Suresnes and Villennes-sur-Seine hotel teams.
This training week included several teambuilding sessions to build a support network within the group of participants and help them feel at home in their new work environment. They were also introduced to the universe of Louvre Hotels Group through a corporate and business presentation. Finally, they visited the hotels, followed by a “taking up a post” workshop. At the end of this kick-off week, they received a roadmap for their first month in the Fast&Curious universe.
The 11 participants now begin their 18-month sandwich course, including technical and managerial training: Revenue Management, Distribution Channel, Finance, Labour Dialogue, Technical Skills, etc. Classroom learning takes place at Louvre Hotels Group head office in La Défense, near Paris. The objective of Louvre Hotels Group is to define career objectives with each candidate and decide with them their post-training position in a hotel or at head office.

Diego Folle (Brazil) 36 years old: After earning a Bachelor’s degree at the Federal University of Pelotas in Brazil, Diego acquired varied work experience in the hotel industry: receptionist at Tulip Inn in Padova and the Jackes Georges Hoteis in Brazil, assistant manager trainee at Village Paraiso Tropicalau Brazil...
Rania Makroum (Morocco): Rania earned her Bachelor’s degree, then her Masters in Tourism Management at the EM Strasbourg business school. During her studies she enjoyed several internships as well as a sandwich course with the company "Get Your Group" in Germany, garnering solid work experience.
José David Lorio Gonzalez (Spain) 25 years old: José is no stranger to the hotel business thanks to his internship at the Intercontinental-Texas hotel where he worked as housekeeping supervisor and receptionist. He earned Bachelor’s degrees in both Law and Business Administration as well as an International Hotel Management degree.
Menno Robert Djie (Netherlands) 26 years old: Robert earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Event Management from Tio University in Amsterdam. He is very familiar with the hotel and restaurant sectors through valuable work experience, namely at Restaurant 13 Amsterdam where he was, successively, Manager and Shift Leader.
Monica Neblett (Panama) 25 years old: Monica is well on her way to a hospitality career after earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Panama, and a MSc in Hotel and Tourism Management in 2017. She has already worked in the industry as well, namely at the Bidasa restaurant where she was purchasing manager.
Carlos Huashuayo (Peru) 33 years old: Carlos has degrees in Tourism, Revenue Management and Information and Sales of Tourist Products. He knows the Group well, having worked at a Campanile hotel as group reservation agent, receptionist and Event Coordinator. He has held positions as reservation agent at Mariott Barcelona 4* and in Guest Relations at the Acevi Villarroel Barcelona 4* hotel.
Katherine O'Hare (UK): Katherine already has solid experience in the Group: she has worked at the Campanile Liverpool as Assistant GM, receptionist, Guest Relation Manager, Duty Manager and Back Office Manager. She then worked at the Campanile Manchester as Reservations Manager and Division Head.
Jessica Olwen Evans (UK): Jessica has an artistic soul. After expressing her talents as a dancer for several years, she has worked since 2013 in the hospitality field and acquired solid experience. In fact, she worked at the Campanile Hull as well as the Old Grey Mare restaurant as head waiter and bartender.
Charlotte Burdeau, (Fr) 24 years old: Charlotte is no newcomer to the hotel business. Her many experiences include executive assistant at the Spity Nice hotel, , assistant manager trainee at the Hi Hotel & Spa Beach Nice...She earned a business school Masters 2 from the Management school in Grenoble.
Martin Guelaud, (Fr) 24 years old: Martin has plenty of field experience. In fact, he has explored a number of different departments during his internships: HR Coordinator at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Canada and seasonal worker at La Chaumière restaurant to name a few. He has a Master’s in International People Management from ESCE.
Christophe D'Humières, (Fr) 26 years old: Christophe earned a Master’s in Hospitality and Tourism Management from ESCP Madrid. His enthusiasm for the hospitality business shows on his CV: Event Manager at La Piscine in Madrid, Junior Consultant at "The Hotel Factory", Head Waiter at the Novotel in Lausanne ...
