Louvre Hotels Group is continuing its “Clean & Safe” reassurance programme. Following the introduction of its Health and Safety Commitment Charter a few months ago and in light of the recent Covid-19 pandemic, the group has taken its approach one step further by tasking Mérieux NutriSciences-France, a consumer health and safety protection expert, with auditing the new protocols established in all its hotels in France. The stated goal is to audit all of its hotels by September so that these new precautionary measures become commonplace for its guests and staff.

Agile in-house expertise supported by Mérieux NutriSciences-France’s excellence in the protection of consumer health and safety.

With some 200 hotels remaining open during the lockdown, Louvre Hotels established its own Health and Safety Commitment Charter at a very early stage. Accordingly, the group’s quality, operations engineering, catering, guest experience and safety experts developed 200 new procedures and training programmes that have already been implemented in all hotels currently in operation.

To guarantee the permanency of the programme, monitor the effective implementation of the new procedures and make them part of everyday life, Louvre Hotels Group decided to call on its long-time quality partner and consumer health and safety protection specialist, Mérieux NutriSciences-France

Besides helping to draw up the group’s Health and Safety Commitment Charter, the main task of Mérieux NutriSciences France will be to carry out thorough audits to verify that the procedures have been appropriately applied in the over 800 hotels in France and Switzerland. These audits will be carried out this summer. At the end of the process, the hotel operator will receive a document certifying its compliance which can then be posted at the entrance of the hotel.

The 800 hotels of the Group in France also apply the “Notre établissement s’engage” protocol

In addition to its Health and Safety Commitment Charter and this strategic partnership with Mérieux NutriSciences-France, Louvre Hotels Group has also joined in the collective reassurance momentum driven by the French Government by enforcing the “Notre établissement s’engage” protocol in all its hotels. This protocol was drawn up during the last Interministerial Committee Meeting on Tourism to encourage hospitality and catering facilities to comply with the health and safety measures recommended to prevent the spread of COVID-19
